    I like the dynamic pose and wonderful color combo especially the mixed colors in the bg. I could see running shadows recovery on the perch/feet but it's not bad as-is too.

    Hi James: What an incredible looking bird. I really love barn owls and this image reminds me why. The pose is wonderful and the wings look like a work of art. Background is nice too and I love the beak. Composition, lighting and exposure all look great to me.

    Love your crop and that look back is excellent. So much detail you got from his plumage and the BG is great. Agree with Mat on trying to lighten up the feet a bit. Congrats

    Nice head turn and plumage detail on the back. Excellent BG too. I would brighten the dark areas a bit.
