This was taken last July while photographing the grizzlies at Katmai. The lush landscape was wonderful to photograph and made such a beautiful background for the wildlife.

Flowers lower left as well as the moss covered rock add interest. Pretty bird with intent stare and pleasing image.

Hi Judy: Another great image from Alaska. Pretty unusual as well to get an eye level capture of a bald eagle in aesthetic habitat all around. I really like the way you captured the edging around all of its feathers and the photo also highlights the eagle's enormous beak. Very nice.

Wow Judy, Love everything here from the grassy BG to the flowers in the bottom corner and especially the perch with so much character. All of it really makes His Majesty pop. Oh and great job on the exposure. Hope I get to see one of these myself this winter. Big Congrats

Judy, Really nice details and stare. I like seeing the flowers in the image with the eagle. I like the moss covered stone and feel it helps to anchor the image nicely.

What an outstanding image. A rare opportunity which you took full advantage of. Very minor comment, I might take out the one small stick behind the head. Still wish this were my image. BIG CONGRATS. on this.

Great love the BG and variety of colors here. Eagles is sharp and pose is great. This shot is a nice balance between showing off the beautiful BG and the eagles. Well done
