    Default Northern Parula

Hi! Great site! Thought for my first post I'd send a Northern Parula photo I took 4/28/07 at Paradise Pond in Port Aransas, Texas. It was a late afternoon shot, clear day. I was using a Canon 20D with a 500L lens at ISO 400, 1/500 at f4. What do you think?

    Thanks,

It's in the message. Obviously I'm not sizing it correctly. Any hints on how to do this? I changed the image size to 750 x 750 pixels in Photoshop and then "Saved for Web" at a max size of 150K. What could I do differently?

Welcome, Marvin. It works if I click on the thumbnail. Did you upload the small file originally?

Very nice inquisitive pose and setting. The whites look a bit overexposed on my monitor.

    What I did was:
just open your full size image, right click on it, copy the info found in location and pasted into the insert image button.

Very nice pose, the whites are a little hot and would prefer a little more DOF.

    Welcome aboard BPN!

looks like we've got the technical details sorted out. Its a very fine first post - but I agree with Jody on the whites.

Cant wait to see more :)
