    Default A blooming berry.

I really wanted to show the berry that is opening up, I don' have a macro lens so this was the closest i could get, I kept the BG as is, because i really like the colors. All C&C welcome.

    Hi Kyle,
This is a sweet image and capture, I like the soft background. Your main subject is in focus, you have good color rendition and fine details...might suggest on adding just a tad of canvas on top for a little more room. good show...looking forward to your next one...

By the way you might want to look into a close-up diopter set of filters which come in +1, +2, and +4 magnification from Hoya. It will only set you back about $54 and it will help you with getting good close-up images...

agree with gus about adding some canvas up top. may add to that it would be nice if there was a bit more separation between the in focus berry and the berry in the bg. very festive with a nice feel. i like it!

Hi Kyle Having the sharp detailed area in the intersecting third area will strengthen the image, not se rule but things seem to work well with that placement !!
