    Default Broken, yet Perfect!

Am not sure whether this image fits into this forum. If not please let me know and i will remove it.

We do use a lot of coconut in our cooking and it is a common sight to see broken coconut. The perfect insides of this coconut caught my eye after I broke it. I immediately grabbed the camera and took a few shots in diffused available light. Appreciate your views and comments.

Nikon D700, 105mm Micro VR, 1/160s, f/18, ISO 200, hand held, small crop at the top

    Hi Ramesh

That is one good looking coconut and I'm sure tasty !!! Image is fine here but will get more comments in ETL so will move it over for the feedback !!

I like how you placed them slightly diagonal, might brighten a bit and if you have it give it tiny more room at the top. bg wide would consider another surface .. smoother without lines !!! Love the idea and I'm sure there are lots more doing to other side ... great texture !!!

I would of liked to see one of the halfs turned over maybe leaning on the other, JMO. Other then that you did good with the light, with them being so white, perfect break indeed. :)

Hi - exposure looks good as does composition - just the lines in the BG distract a little.

I like it as presented Ramesh,
the subject is balanced in frame and has symmetry. I like the diagonal placement and the color rendition and details are good...well done...

interesting, ramesh. the first thing i thought was is if it had a different bg, but the lines do add an interesting element. i like kyle's idea too!

Thanks a lot everyone for your views and suggestions. Al, i had cropped a bit at the top and will check it without the crop. Kyle, your idea is really good. something that i can consider when i get to try this again. Thanks again.

    regards,
    ramesh
