    Dave - Great comp, absolutely love the OOF male in the corner. Sharpness, HA, and exposure look nice to me too.

    I like the idea, and certainly the male is the one to have in the background, because his coloration is so strong you can tell what it is, even OOF. It would have been interesting to shoot it at several different f stops to play with the DOF. In a perfect world, I wish the males head was forward, not preening.

    Thanks Dave and Randy for comments. I felt I was pretty max'd out at ISO800 and 1/750 with that combo. and the birds moving around a bit. I am glad sharpness is in the ball park. Good comment about having male in bg. I had not thought of that, and I agree about the ha of male also. I had not thought of that either, but did like the idea of the shot. Dave
