Very nice bird. I especially like its hood.
I would suggest a small crop on bottom and some NR on BG.

Agree on the bird's great colors and on JC's recommendations.
    Thanks for sharing, Alexander.

Hi Alexander: I love to photograph sparrows and this is a mighty fine shot of a tree sparrow. Your exposure and color handling are right on in my book. I think the crop on the bottom will definitely help the photo. Great job.

Cropping off the bottom would place the bird quite low in the frame IMO...if you do choose to do that you can crop above too (pano-ish comp). As is I would eliminate the vertical strand below the bird, the small white spot, and the "strand" that goes from leg to perch.

Nice looking perch, albeit a bit thick (from where the bottom crop suggestions come from), great BG and colours. Perfect pose too, I like the HA alot.

Sharp as can be with a perfect head position and vibrant colors. The vertical stem in the center of the hedge is a big distraction.

Beautiful color and detail makes a common little bird really special. Lovely shot. Concur with the cropping suggestion which would diminish the impact of the vertical stem.
