Jan, Details look really good. I love the pose. I'm not crazy about the BG lines in the water-but I'd still be more than happy with this shot. Wish the head was above the back wing a bit. Nicely done.

Hey Jan ... must say that I really like this one ! I agree with Denise but still think that the detail and exposure on the flight feathers make this one for me .... great shooting !

Great action shot. I love the wing postion, HA, extended talons and proximity to the water great exposure and light as well. Pretty good background as well. Nothing I would change. wish it were mine.

Terrific pose in good light, I love how the light shines in the dark wings. The BG is what it is.

Absolutely incredible, and you were perfectly positioned as far a light direction goes! The only problem I see has to do with the whites, some of them are blown or just about, especially in the red channel. If you were using ACR this could easily be dealt with, a little recovery and curves: white/highlight adjustment. Indeed the spectacular detail and exposure of the dark plumage wouldn't have been possible without sacrificing the whites to some degree. Excellent work! regards~Bill

Its one of the best action shot with a great lighting. The only thing which I wish is the BKGR but as fabs said it is what it is. Congrats Jan!!
