Default a trip through the woods

I darkened it a lot in post processing. And sharpened only the small section toward the end of the visible pathway.
This is another image I took while riding in the car.

OK, what do you think? I know this is a bit "non-traditional", shall we say? lol.

I like it ! My first impression is it's like a scene in some fairy tale story. I would even try "manipulate" it a bit more...glamour glow, soft-focusing, etc...:D

That's exactly what I "saw" when I first saw the image, Desmond. I have CS4, nothing else. Are there filters or something in CS4 that you would recommend?

Reminds me of little red riding hood - like it a lot, the sharp area draws you into the image very nicely.
Nik software do make a bunch of filters for CS4 - some good stuff in there.
    Good show Cheryl!!

    Hi Cheryl,
I like this very much...I like the way the outer edges swirl inward, taking you into the picture...well done...

Thanks, Lance for the critique. Unfortunately, I have already spent my photo budget on my new lens, that's why I am looking for something in CS4 that I already have. :)

I like it . It takes your eye down the path. Thanks for sharing.

Try looking under Filter then play with options under Artistic, Blur, Distort or Stylize. A search on the internet for tutorials could also help.

Lance is right, Cheryl---it's Little Red Riding Hood all the way. This is wonderful, I like the colors, the way your eye is led down the path and the quiet, isolated feeling. Congrats!
