    It was amazing getting this close to this bird! He was only about 20' from me.The angle was not to bad and could not change it by getting further away as you can't get out of vehicle at this part of the preserve(Ridgefield).

    Todd, I would suggest toning down the contrast a bit.

    Todd,

    I know that a many persons don't like the high-key look in avian images, but I do appreciate the stark contrast of this type of image. I like them and create them. I feel you did well here.

    Your repost looks good too for a more traditional look.

    Good job on reducing the contrast but the repost is too red... Otherwise, a very nice image. Like RAM I like the high key stuff.

    Lovely high key image, really great detail. The plumage, claws and perch looks a bit oversharpened to me. Good stuff!
