Taken in a nature reserve close to my house last weekend. I liked the colours of the BG in this.

Man I love the crop on this and the pose, background and perch are perfect .. wish the light was a bit less harsh but a very pretty image.

great unusual shot Stu - bird looks a tad oversharpened? wish for a bit more space to the right.

Stuart, I too love the bg and the birds position. I feel there is too much perch and agree with Morkel on adding more space on the right.

I like the vertical pano crop, Stuart. BG is lovely. Size constraints for web don't do this image justice.

Stuart, I love the vertical crop also. The repost looks great. Wish we could see it even larger. Very nicely done.

I think this would make a great bookmark :) Vertical panos always make me think of that. I'm fine with the original crop.

Stuart: Reminds me of a rufous-sided towhee here in Missouri. Great composition and the repost really took care of the harshness of the light. Well done.
