Default DPP 3.7.2 and Win 7 pro 64

I am in the process of upgrading to Windows 7 64-Bit pro, I want to make sure all of my current sw will run without issues before I format my HDD for good :D is anyone using DPP 3.7.x in 7 64 pro? If so are there any issues or bugs?

    Thanks!

    Arash,
Hard drives are cheap. Why not buy another one and keep the old one unchanged? That way you have a backup of all your data. Whenever I upgrade a system, I upgrade to new disks and put the old on in a safe place as an archive.

Thanks Roger, it's a RAID system which runs primary OS, I am making an image file of my entire boot partition in case something goes wrong :D

    arash,

DPP 3.7.2 and Win 7 pro 64 will work.

I just "upgraded" from vista ultimate 64 to win7 home pro. Intel 775 mobo & 8 GB ram.

    I did it this way..
I updated latest bios. All vista driver specially the latest raid drivers. Formatted a new hard drive to install the "new upgrade" version on it.
During the install win7 will ask for drivers and then you can point in vista to the latest raid driver which you will find in vista programs. I had the latest driver on a cd & floppy but during my upgrade attempt it gave me error "could not find it" but with the next attempt by updating all vista drivers first win7 found it. After that all was smooth sailing. win7 was installed on the new drive ready for dual boot. But right now nvidia has not come out with a good driver yet. You have a clean install now.

I use dual boot right now. but if you want to boot up win7 single the ntlr loader will be missing...just run a repair with the win7 cd at boot up to fix ntlr.

If you want a real clean install with an upgrade win7 cd it's also possible but it needs a little easy registry tweak to activation.
