    Hi Folks

    This painting of a Western Tanager was done using DAP Aquarell in Auto and hand adjusted after auto stopped at about 6000 strokes.

    Hi Gus, Nice to see you posting. I vote for #1 I like the softer look to the BG. and the more muted colors. I might reveal a bit more of the eye and remove the piece hitting it's head if it were mine. Very nicely done BTW!!

    I prefer the first one. Very painterly effect and I agree about revealing the eye.
