    Another try at the vineyard. Weather conditions were lousy so a close up was in order to keep the grey skies out of it.

    Canon 50D
    Canon 70-300 @ 130mm
    ISO 400
    1/400sec @ F6.3

    Gaussian blur applied to the background.

    Very nice composition, color and DOF, you made it look like the leaves are floating in the air. The details on the leaves are good too. Wish there is less glare on the leaves and the OOF black in bottom is a bit distracting.

    Hi Chris,
    I like the capture, the bottom dark OOF spot draws my attention, would suggest on cropping just above that spot for a tighter in frame subject. I would also adjust a the contrast just a tad more to make the leaf pop out at you. I like the placement in frame and the details and texture...looking forward to the next one...:cool:

    Just the oof dark a the bottom drawing attention as Gus mentions but one fine image !! Love the overall feel !!!

    Beautiful colors and I really like the sharp leaves against the soft bg in the same tones...agree with the crop suggestion.

    I like the colors here. Agree that you should crop out the dark area. The glare doesn't bother me. Thanks for sharing
