Steve, Good pose, like the details in the darks, placement in frame, sharpness. I would run a light warming filter over the BG to enhance the warm colours a tad. Exciting to see the variety of species on BPN which I'm unlikely to see in the wild.

Hey Steve, well exposed on the dark hide, and good eye contact. You always seem to capture interesting BG's, and in this, I love the melting snow scattered across the image. Well captured.

Think you have done a good job here Steve. Can understand why you poss' made it warmer as that looks darn cold there. Either way, this looks good as presented and the soft light has helped bring out the lovely details. Fine job!

Hi Steve: I like your composition. I have a bunch of bison shots and I don't like any of them so I know how hard they are to shoot. I would have liked the photo a little more if the prairie would have extended a little more at the top instead of the change in the landscape, just because the grass is so beautiful. But thats a moot point, eh? Thank you.

Thank you all for the comments.

Betsie, I feel the same about the pics from India and Africa.

Stuart, after a year on this site one of the first things I look for is BGs.

David, it was in the mid 20s (F)

Danny, I hear you on the grass. There was a little hill behind him.
