As winter approaches, here's one from earlier this year in CT - this bird hung around for several weeks but often went missing for long periods. This was taken in the early morning sunning itself next to a parking lot!

You've really caught the colour in those eyes wonderfully, and they contrast with the blue background nicely. My only concern with the picture is that the change in background almost cuts off the head, so a higher angle might have been better. An impressive bird though, and a beautiful, majestic pose :)

this is truly an awesome image besides the blue over the bg. i know sometimes on perfect golden light it gets so vibrant as certain angle but still i fell that the blue tone gets heavy than the bird and it may help if you desaturated it a bit.

Drop dead gorgeous animal and a beautiful capture. Background doesn't really bother me but might look a tad better if rotated CCW a little.

I like the direct eye contact, and well exposed on the whites. This guy must be quite familar with man if he is perched next to a parking lot. Great capture.

Te blue BG really helps bring out the snow owl. Wondeful light. And those eyes...are just stunning.

Absolutely lovely capture. I love how all the colors work well together and the inclusion of environment is a huge plus for me. Your exposure of the whites appears spot on and I love how there is one foot showing and the owl has a bit of a cocky head pose. Wish it were mine!
