    This was taken in BC on a STL work shop.
    A spirit bear is a black bear with a double recessive gene.

    What an interesting colour, are there any particular physical attributes that allow you to know the type of bear?
    I think the head could do with a little selective sharpening.

    Hi James: I love the composition here and very cool to see something new in the bear world. I knew it was black bear the moment I saw it. Thanks for the explanation.
