This morning I photographed Mr. Pelican, who had just caught a tasty morsel and was hesitating with it nestled safely in his beak. I have cropped and tweaked the image a bit, but found (even with my settings) that the whites seemed to turn out OK on this overcast day. How about the blacks; do they seem OK? Criticism please . . .
hI Wendell - exposure looks pretty good - might set a black and white point in P.S. might add a bit of punch to it.
Might add some additional sharpening to the head/eye area. Also wouldnt mind a little more room on either side - just a tad tight for my personal tastes.
I like your little guy Wendell, agree with Mr. Peters on the adjustments...also a tad more sharpening on the eye...looking forward to your next one...
Histogram looks good to me, very good with the exposure. Love the eye contact and the water flowing from the mouth. Wish you could go lower with the angle.
