    This image of the Caspian Tern was taken from James boat . The Caspian terns were quite numerous and just beautiful to watch.

    Judy - Great exposure and sharpness. I'm surprised 1/1000 was fast enough to freeze a Tern. Head seems slightly angled away.

    Judy:

    Nice timing, fine wing position. The HA looks pretty good to me.

    I agree with Joe about toning down the rocks a bit. I might also remove the one dark stick pointing up beneath the birds wings, and consider a small crop, about 20% of the free space, down from the top. To my eye it helps work the diagonal a bit more. All the action is down towards the left, so I am thinking that the space above doesn't add too much. Purely personal taste.

    Judy this is mindblowing timing. The stretched back wings clearly shows how the bird is out-breaking itself for the landing
