What impresses me the mos about this image is the light falling on the birds, WOW! They are radiating a glow :)
Awesome shape formed by the two heads and necks, merging of the head with the shoreline a bit unfortunate.
In all, an excellent image, congrats!

Mital, despite the big drawback of line crossing the head, I like this one a lot. Beautiful birds, colors....and the pose of course. This is one of those situations, where people like you and me wish for a faster aperture lens for more blurring, isn't it?

I am assuming you could not have gone lower...because that would have helped a lot. I know it will eliminate virtual legs, but I wont mind a tighter crop.

kaustubh thanks for the kind words and suggestions.
true it would be good to go crawl mode but the face i was under a tree over the water :) 6" deep and worried to get wet in **** of other birds though was sitting ver that :)

true it could have helped me to avoid the edge line of water body.

also this is cropped image not full frame and cropped till the last edge i get quality. going tigher would have lost it so this is what i have right now but surely i do wish for a faster lens to get nice blur and distance :)

Great light, interaction and sharpness. Too bad about the shoreline in the BG. Does it need a tad CCW rotation?

Very nice interaction you got Mital, love the composition and positioning of the birds (center works well here). I would blur the BG more to reduce the distraction from shoeline.

The light and the details on the birds are fantastic. I agree about horizon-but still a sweet image.
