Hi Harshad: I have a free-ranging Rhode Island Red named "Sissy" who would like to meet this little fella.

    Harshad:

Very colorful fellow indeed. Sharp and well exposed.
I am bothered a bit by the bokeh of the background. The out of focus highlights seem a bit harsh, so I might consider a bit more blurring of it.
I would also consider toning down the two brighter yellow leaves in the RUC.

    Cheers

Good looking guy for sure!! It reminds me of my childhood, my grandfather raised them, different species, I'm sure :)
Agree the BG is distracting, and I know you are pretty good at blurring, so give it a try ;)

I like the colors, soft light and attentive pose. A lower angle would have helped with the BG.

Nice to see a different bird, love the colors agree with blurring the BG more.

Harshad, cannot add anything to everything said before. But this one shows the biggest problem with photographing in Indian tiger reserves. I havent visited one for 13 years....but when I do next I am going to be extremely unhappy not being able to walk. And the irony is that when they used to allow walking (in at least some of them that had tigers but were not blessed enough to be called tiger reserves...and we used to walk a lot...day and night both), I did not have a camera :-)
