Snowy Plover Nestled in Clouds

This male SNPL was photographed while lying flat on my belly in the sand. Had forgotten my frisbee to lay my camera on so, needless to say, my camera and lens were in the sand as well. I got so low at one point that I even got sand in my mouth. It was all worth it. Almost full frame.
