Took this image tonight. We had a little break in the weather here in florida and I rushed out to Wakodahatchee to see what was happening. The sunset was lovely with golden light and there were lots of cattle egrets coming home to roost.

    Hi Judy,

What a lovely light. You did well with the composition and exposure.

Great light and exposure control. I think I can hear Artie's head angle squadron. :)

Like the soft light and composition very much. Head angle not perfect but does not really bother me

Of course the soft buttery light is nice. I like the sharp claws hanging down. The wing hanging down looks as if it is correcting the course.

Lovely and the head angle only bothers us photographers, never had a birder or naturalist complain to me!

Great pose and excellent light! Love the capture. I did notice slight sharpenning halos around the legs and feet. Seems to always happen with dark legs and sky. I use the Blur brush in PS set a 20% opacity and 7 pixels or so wide and trace the outline to get rid of them. Great image!
