    Hi Desmond,
This is a sweet image and capture, I like the color rendition and soft lighting. Your little guy has good details, a good head angle and a sharp eye, and the soft diffused pastel background makes him stand out very nicely. My only suggestion would be to crop just above the horizontal wire at the bottom, it brakes up the compositional balance and fluid arch motion of the image; my eye keeps going there...looking good...congrats...

Lovely bird, Desmond. The cropping above the horizontal line is something I noticed too. And maybe darken the bright area above the head. (How would you do that??) Great background, details, head angle, and eye contact. might even try cropping a bit off the top to make the bird look larger in the frame. lovely image.

Great light, sharp eye, nice colors and the BG is killer,...Love it. Techs are spot-on. Agree with Gus, I would crop above the horizontal wire at the bottom, but that's me - great shot.

I can go either way with the crop .... at first I was thinking of doing away with the wire but its sort of growing on me and I like the ratio it gives the image having the little guy on the upper left corner. I like it a lot !!!
