Hi All - we have had such a wintery fall that it is hard to remember which seasonal colors we are talking about. This is another "just walking around town with the G10" image. It is a maple leaf atop maple leaves.
C & C's much appreciated.

I love the color and texture and details. The only thing I keep thinking is that the leaves look placed, rather than as found out of doors. Is there some way to add something (water, web, bit of soil, something partially beneath a leaf edge) to make it look like they fell this way outside?
gorgeous colors! was the purple color there in the original? we don't have that in our maple trees here.
Hi All - thanks for the suggestions and kind remarks. I did have to check on what a "petiole" is; a stem for us less botanical folk. The composition is as it lay - so I left the petiole, and I debated about whether it added or distracted. Thanks for your thoughts.
Cheers
