I did a lot of reading on abstract's these last few days...lots of trial and error went into this abstract..

I started with the image found here:
    http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=48410

Ended with the image below....Just try anything until its pleasing to your eye...

Paul, Looks great. It looks like the liquid tool was used. I wish it were a larger image so we could appreciate more of the details. I might lighten the image a bit. Very nicely done. What a transformation!!

    Nice image and application, Paul.

Agree with Denise on sizing of the image.

nice work Paul.....now that you have a concept for the pp, please do
try a larger version of something. I see the blur and pixelation can
get to be a problem.....but work big and reduce.

    this might be a winner

Amazing image, Paul. The colors, patterns, and framing all work wonderfully. This is definitely a labor of love.

    Like it Paul.

One thing I noticed was that the scrolls, at the corners of the interior box, on the top and bottom (running on the ends of the straight line) is not centered to the box. Don't know if that is adjustable, but other than that, looks good!

I love the original and the repost even more. This is, as you say, very pleasing to my eye.

But, Paul, that is easier said than done! Inspired by your swirls and colors and beautiful pattern, I tried this. Never did get anything that was pleasing to my eye. But, I'll keep trying...something about pigs and acorns comes to mind. :D
