Awesome Mital, this is better than the last one, great action captured here sharp and nice, I would clean up the lower branch (lots of poop!) or even explore removing the entire lower branch. Great work

    thanks arash.
the fact i did not worked on lower branch is

    1. i had to add the virtual tail
    2. sort of a major work task / ethics to add something which is not present.

Incredible timing and a very nice image Mital! A bit more shutter speed would have sharpened up the insect. I rarely dip below ISO 400 because noise is minimal and the extra shutter speed never hurts.

Amazingly sharp Mital, and very well done on capturing the tossing of his catch. Lovely well exposed colours, and great pp work on the tail.

    thanks stuart.
btw for this image i have done nothing except clone out the bottom branches disturbing and making buzy bottom. no other work done with this image not even level curve.

found it really good enough first time that i had not to touch or do anything over the image :)

Wow, Mital, this is outstanding! You could just sharpen the bug selectively.
D300 is good at ISO 400, my default ISO.

thanks fabs, even i do also use 400 as default and spent an entire year almost 90% my frames. somehow i found the light very good and thought of trying lewer ISO. but yes if i've plan to visit the place again to shoot same bird with wings open and different wing position landing lifting etc and at that time 400 will sure help.

Action especially sharp always grabs attention and this is perfect.
Suggestion of focus sharpening of insect is great and if it were me I would get rid of white "poop".

Nice image. I would crop just a little from the left. I have no problem with the whitewash.

Lovely. I wish you had used ISO 400. I like the excreta as it tells a story.
