    Default Tiger swatting

Came across this tigress one early morning. She was annoyed by a flying insect and raised a paw to swat it...when I clicked. Just look at the massive forearm and paw and you will begin to understand the power behind a swat!

Well timed to capture the paw in the air, and I like the lazy posture. Its not the forearms that I notice, but the size of those paws. Wonderful looking cats.

I like the low angle. The raised paw nicely shows the soft pads. The forearms are always an arm wrestlers delight. By the way, the tiger doesn't kill its prey by striking blows with its fore arms or paws.

Very impressive Ajit, the swatting paw really makes this image.

My what big feet you have, you certainly would not want to be swatted.

If it was mine I may have been tempted to make the branches on the left disappear.

    Ajit ji,
What an amazing mood you have captured here, let this cat rule the wilds of India in such a relaxed mood for ever. All of us in our small way have to work hard to conserve this species from extinction
