A country road near my home last week. In order to get the file size below 200k for posting, I had to reduce the original to 800x600 and still save it at a low resolution. I hope that hasn't degraded the image too much.
D300, Nikon 80-400VR at 116mm., ISO200, hand-held, 1/500 at f/9.0.
Colors look good, fall is there for sure. Nice exposure techs, ISO 200 for quality and stopping down for deep DoF. Regarding file size and image quality, did you follow--> save for web & devices protocol, then...upper right hand corner dialog box-->optimize to file size, <200k?

Hi Richard,
This is very nice...love the changing fall colors. I like the way the road leads you into the photo. The color rendition is good and so are the details...looking forward to the next one...
Good suggestion by Jeff !!! ... and when downsizing do use bicubic sharper !!!
Love the strong reds !! Also like the framing and positioning, poles look fine spaced evenly and like the curving road !! btw agree also on the ISO increase, your D300 does perform very well !!!
Thanks for the comments. Re: Jeff's suggestion - I didn't know you could do that, so from now on I will. An example of the great value in "Eager to Learn"!
