Hi all, again I have been away for a while, after all the Lapwing discussion I needed some time out :p ... Now seriously, I am with a lot going on right now work-wise so I am very happy.
Here's the first image of this bird that I really like and althought it is a preety common bird I find it very beautifull, to get this shot what I did was to locate a feeder very high without any perches so the bird can only fly to it and if there's already a bird eating, the fly for a few seconds in the same place just for me :o
Hope you like it, it is not exactly the image I have in my mind but I hope to get it soon. Enjoy!

It may be a "preety common bird" but that is a "preety gorgeous shot!" I love the Canon 300 F4! I've smashed the hood on mine three times and it goes right back into shape like play-dough.
Awesome wing position! The bird pops nicely against the BG. I would probably tone down the brights a bit to bring out a bit more details on the underwing, and I would also smooth out the yellowish circle in ULC. Very strong effort :-)
Ramon, as the others have said this is really nice. I normally like things skewed to one side but this one feels just a bit tight on the right to me. That said, I wish it were mine!
Thnak you all guys VERY much for your kind words and suggestion, it IS kind of tight to the right, I'll create another option with a little more room there and repost soon. Again, thanks!
Very nice image Ramón. Love the Wing pose, the detail and the sharpness.
If one thing I would change is the cloning out the light brown patch in front of the bird's head however not critical...
