    I was following this blue snow goose when suddenly she opened every thing she could to slow down her speed and avoid a collision with another goose arriving in front of her!

    Nikon D300 200-400 with TC 1,4 at 550 mm, f8 1/1600 ISO 400.

    Good timing, like the wing/tail spread and crops of water flying.

    As posted, the whites are a bit grey (underexposed). I took the liberty of increasing the exposure 3/4 of a stop. The brightest whites are now about 240. I also sharpened the eye a bit, and tried a different crop. Certainly a matter of taste on the crop.

    Interesting midair braking posture. Good show of the near wing, and I like Randy's repost. Good to see the clouds in the BG too. Well captured.

    Patrice, Love the wing position and legs here. I'd keep your darker BG and Randys' brighter bird. Congrats on the capture.
