Great capture arash, I am using my 5DMKII often for video and it is astounding and playing around with various lenses is a ball.
400mm Definitely needs a tripod and the lighting is a bit dark, I don't know about the 7D but the 5 adjusts it automatically.
Did you auto focus on the bird first?
If you have the bent try filiming in macro, it is difficult but rewarding.
