    Made this with D700, 600mm, ISO 400, F5.6, 1/500 , beanbag on SUV shoulder
    Light was that bright

    Nice BG, DOF, and exposure. I think the flower in the dead center and the leaf getting cut off on the right is hurting you a bit..I realize you were using big glass but maybe cropping the subject a little off center and keeping the leaf tip in the frame would strenghten it a bit. I think overall it still works.

    Nice colors, Harshad. The flower contrasts well with the BG. I agree with Nick's observation on cut leaf. TFS.

    Hey Harshad, nice control over the reds. Did you have to desaturate them at all?

    Compositionally, not the best but not terrible either. I would have preferred the stem in the ROT's position and both leaves fully included OR both leaves cropped. With only one cropped it feels like an accident - with both cropped it feels like a close crop. :D
