    From Bosque de Apache while photographing birds found the coyote hunting and hunting he did Came up with five field mice in just a few minutes He would stare then jump up in the air coming up with one most of the time Here is chewing on one Was unable to have the mouse looking at the camera !!!

    Hi Alfred,
    I think the mouse was a little preoccupied while you were trying to photograph him. The fur looks a little "blotchy" (too much NR?) in spots. Amazing how well he just blends into the grass in both color and texture.

    Good capture. The coyote's fur looks as if it is very wet. Nice sharp image with a good action - except from the mouse's viewpoint.

    Alfred,both you and the coyote got a nice capture!! Mother nature at work!! And that is one big mouse. Nice bonus image while photographing birds.

    Nice capture here Al. Tells a natural history story. I wish the head was turned a bit towards the camera so we could see the eyes a littel better. The OOF FG works well here...

    I like this image Al. I can almost anticipate the crunch of tha mouse. Not nice perhaps but that's nature. Lovely light in this image too.

    I think he is looking at you from the corner of his eye. The natural camo here is a real fine example of one subjects advantage over the others. Natural beauty is all around us. Liefs cycle continues unabated. It takes a heartfelt appreciating to see that before clicking the shutter. Well done in conveying emotion. A 10.
