    Hi Adrian,
    I like the contrasting colors, and the placement of the yellows in frame...you display good details and texture...I would recommend on slicing off just a tad from the top and from the bottom, to make this a tighter crop...well done...:cool:

    Love this image and do look for them !!! Might have suggested twisting the camera a bit ... great feel !!!

    Like the textures and colours on this Adrian, I might have stopped down more to get the larger lichen all in focus and maybe the whole log. Might try a vignette around it as well. Like the orange contrasting on the bark.

    HI Adrian - like the composition - think I might have stopped down a bit more as well, the OOF in the lower left is a tad distracting.
    But still very nice :)

    Nice colors and great texture, nice eye for finding these. Agree about the DOF, wish more is in focus.

    Nice image, I always see these but never knew the name, but the one's i see are green. Have also taking pics of them. Love the orange color really stands out, A tighter crop would work for me. Great job :)

    Thank you very much! I agree with you about the DOF, but I couldn't get in a parallel position to the plane of the lichens...and this was a HH shot, no possibility of using the tripod on that location.
    Here is a slightly cropped version.
