Captured this pied-billed grebe at Bolsa Chica last spring. I wish I could have gotten a lower angle but I was abiding by the rules and staying on the dikes..

Got him in the shake pose Love how there was enough shutter speed to keep the head sharp Excellent placement and eye contact If anything would close some detail in the bright chess area !!! Excellent !!!
I love it! Sure a lower perspective would be great, but the pose is just too good to overlook. The water gives the impression that the photo could use a bit of CCW rotation, but the bird's angle looks OK.
