Nice lighting, comp, and pose Denise. The eye looks a hair oversharpened or grainy to me. Was this cropped at all?

Dave, It was a large crop- I toned down around the eye a bit. Tried to repost-but it looks the same:o

Perfect timing, Denise...love that water drop floating off his foot. I like the comp but you sure could go tight pano and also get another great image out of this.

You always seem to capture lovely light and beautiful BGs. Have you posted this before or do you specialize in getting birds to drop water off their feet? Great image as usual.

Hi Denise, the pointed foot gives the impression he's not enjoying the water. Having said that, I like the walking pose with the single droplet below the foot. You have exposed this nicely, with good detail throughout. Killer BG.

Love the angle, pose and water droplets. The detail is good for the crop, I think. Lovely!

Nice BG, exposure, and pose. The light is decent. The IQ is suffering from the crop IMO, as the fine details seem to be lacking even with the sharpening.

Love the raised foot and the water droplet and the low angle. You ID is correct; it is a worn very drab juvenile.

Excellent low perspective, and stepping pose. The droplet underfoot adds interest.
