Stuart, nice sharpness, comp, and exposure looks good.
What a shot!!! Mindblowing
Hi Stuart,
I love the way in which the tern seemings to be surfing along on the breeze. Beautiful feather details. Does the eye look a little bright?
Best,
Nicki
beautiful image withnice expo and compo , eye mentioned
TFS
Beautiful sharpness and details. The eye does look a bit bright. I love the gradient BG colors. Nicely framed.
Beautiful tern image, Stuart. The angles are incredible on this one. Only thought I had was maybe find a way to blend the bottom of the BG just a bit with the center so it was more gradual instead of it being a band at the bottom. Maybe a 50% clone between the two colors?
I really like the pose, details and the blue bg!
Thank you all so much for the great feedback. Here is a version removing the sea at the bottom, and darkening the eye.
I liked the sea at the bottom :) It seemed like a gradient, and gave depth, dang. Very sharp and great EXP.
Stuart, I like the bottom color also. It gave some interest. Beautiful sharpness. Can't comment on the eye-since I'm not sure. Love it!
Me, too--I liked the sea at the bottom. Super sharp with great detail.
Much prefer the sea at the bottom as in the original post. My big problem here is again one that nobody has mentioned; the bird's head is turned slightly away....
What species is this, or is it Sterna anotheri???

I agree about keeping the strip of ocean on bottom.
Lovely bird and wings. Agree about the head angle been a few degrees away.
Thank you all for the different opinions regarding the sea.
Artie, This is a swift Tern. The only tern that has a full yellow beak.
I too prefer the OP, nice details, light and pose.... congrats..

Very beautiful Stuart, love the HA, wing position, BG, if you wanna be picky there is some grain on the darker feather but overall excellent. TFS
