I shot this image in my backyard today. The bird has been "flycatching" near my waterfeature and sometimes landing on my Japanese Maple. Slight crop and PP in ACR and CS3, sharpened with Nik, BG NR with Noise Ninja. Wish the tail was in focus:(. C&C welcome.

Super pose and colors Dan. Might remove the second catchlight, but that's pretty minor. Well done.

Beautiful Dan. Nice flash work, the OOF tail and the second catch light don't bother me too much.
Just a pity about the second branch behind the bird. Great stuff, Paul Randall.

    Hi Dan!
Very pretty shot and love the autumn colours that frame the bird. Love it as posted.

Beautiful pose and fall foliage colors, very nice details and HA. I might remove the second catchlight if it were mine. Seems your water feature is bringing in the birds!!

Beautiful picture, I go with Paul the second branch is a little bit destructing but ... well its nature. Maybe ( if its possible) moving the bird a little bit more to the right would make it a even stronger composition.
I love the crisp bird and don't care about the tail or th ehighlights in th e bg.

    Look at those leafs!
Great looking bird, love the inquisitive look and pose. The second catch light could be easily removed.
