    Default GBH reflection #2

I posted a GBH reflection a while earlier and the reflection wasn't perfect.....but I thought I had one.....went back to my Jan. files and found this one......probably as close as I can to get reflection perfection. I did have a bit more room also and only cropped from the bottom....so it wasn't a mirror image.
Canon 1D Mark lll with the Sigma 300-800mm lens at 406mm at f6.3 and 1/4000 sec and ISO 800 manually focused.
3 spots patched out of water in PP'ing. Also took previous advice and only sharpened breast feathers very slightly.

Mirror-like reflection! And great breast feathers on this guy. Well done.

Beautiful, clean reflection Roman... looks like great detail as well. I personally think a little more room on the bottom might be nice. Awesome work!

Super reflection Roman. You could almost mirror this one 180 without it being noticed. Good exposure and feather detail. Great shot.

    Hi Roman,
Killer shot, details and light! For me, just a tad more underneath.
    Best,

Roman, Beautiful mirrored reflection, great details, pose and plumage. It does look a bit tight to me too-but I know it isn't for you. A few dust bunnies. Very nicely done.

Roman, you certainly have captured a perfect reflection - colours all there. Good job with the sharpening on the breast feathers, bit I feel a bit of selective sharpening on the head and wings will work too. I feel you could add a bit to the top and bottom too.

Wow, Roman, this is gorgeous! Perfect sharpening on the feathers and the reflection puts it over the top.

Great light, calm water, head angle and reflection. Maybe a tad more sharpening? Your tight-crop preference hurts this image IMHO. :)

    Hey Roman!
Good to see you around here!
Lovely image of one of my favorite herons. Beautiful job on making this image. I agree with Axel about this been too tight.

Hi All and thanks.....for those who want more room.....I do have it on bottom.....but none on left.....as there was a great egret just out of frame and many more birds on the right! Fortunately......adding canvas on this one is an easy fix!

What a lovely image. At first I had a feeling that the bird is tight in the frame but then it was ok.
    Awesome reflection.
