    Dear all
    Made this is Kanha NP with D700, 300/f4 , ISO 200, f5.6, 1/60, handheld
    My first attempt for panning shot , got 3 frames , already deleted 2
    is this worth as a keeper ? How to improve ?

    My only blurs have been by accident, that said, I think you did really well here; nice sharp head and good sense of movement. I might give him more room to run into and lose that tree trunk.

    in my opinion, that's a perfect pan blur!! love the detail in the jackal and the blurred bg. fantastic job!!!!

    I like it! This is tough to do - I've never succeeded - but you managed to keep the head fairly sharp, and the panning blur creates a great sense of movement. I concur that a bit of room to the right and maybe a bit off the left would help if you have the canvas. Nice job.

    Really nice !!! Just the perfect shutter speed to the speed/distance !!! Agree on Bill's suggestion ... need more room for the animal to run into and would also crop top and bottom for accentuating speed !!! Big Congrats !!!

    This is worth as a keeper for me. I like how you have the head sharp while the background blur to give sense of motion. The sticking out tongue is a plus too. Agree about more room on the right would make this even better.

    Nice pan blur, great nature image with supportive habitat. Both posts are good, I like the OP best.
