Canon 1D MII + Dell Inspiron 9400 + IEEE1394

Hello All, Again I come to you for a specific question. Last night I wanted to change my personal function 3. Got my cable out inserted the end to the camera, but my laptop does not have the firewire connection. Odd since this is a fairly new laptop. Do I need an adapter, has anyone else experince this with the same model Dell????????? :cool:

They are external adapter for this. Check Belkin or ebay.
