    I followed this little guy for quite awhile, hoping he would come closer, but never got quite the shot I wanted...this is a pretty big crop. C&C always encouraged and appreciated.

    Canon 40D; f5.6, 1/800; Av +2/3; ISO 800 and 500f4 + 1.4x

    Love this little Guy Katie,
    It looks like hes ready for action...you have a good head angle and good eye contact, and placed just right in frame...lovely...:):cool:

    Nice work even getting this close. The resident Pied-billed on our lake never lets me get within range. Well done.

    Hi Katie - he sure is cute - Love the pose - good HA and eye contact. Like how you have left room up front for him to zoom into.

    Nice Picture & composition, is it a tad underexposed? How does Histogram look.

    ISO 800 on a 40D, yours must work better than mine at that speed - cool shot.

    Katie - You definitely made the best of a difficult situation. Composition is great, love the action - makes it a unique Pied-billed Grebe image.

    Cuteness makes a big difference Katie and this little guy has it all over :) The direct eye contact makes it for me !!!
