Hi Jeff - Good Pose, Ha and eye contact - the red birds really pops against the green BG.
Histogram is showing the reds as being clipped still. The addition of a blue photo filter in P.S. at 25% brings the reds back into line.
I find myself wanting to see more at the bottom, the white tends to blend in and makes it difficult to see were the images ends - Maybe a border around it might help.
Hi Jeff,
I like the capture. Your little guy has a good head angle and good eye contact. Agree than the red are a tad on the bright side and looks bleached out, also if you have the room for more of the perch, add a little more. Looking forward to your next one...
Gus/Lance, I tried to bring Reds back some with selective color adjustments, will that work as well?
I have learned a great lesson here, I need to look at the indiividual color histograms more, that must be causing the lightness that Gus and Desmond are seeing.
Great feed back guys, thanks.

Hi Jeff,
Nice sharpness and pose. I thought it was a bit overexposed. I selected the red in Color Range in PS using the + eyedropper and made a new layer. ( Control J). I then changed the layer blending mode to mutilply ( and reduced the opacity to about 38 percent) and then finally desaturated the reds in Hue and Saturation in the reds so I would get values under 242 for the reds. The reds might still be close to being over, but it would be easier to work from the raw file.
jackie was heading in the direction i was thinking. i was gonna just say try adding some black to the whites or mids. i like the pose. only wish for more on the bottom too.
nice alert6 pose, a bit tight on bottom as noted.
As is in low quality jpg, there is nothing to work with regarding the reds.
For best results work from RAW.....tried some levels and selective color and sats.
Not optimal, but shows the lack of data in the image
Dave, I will repost it tomorrow starting from CR2. Today, I just took the last post (JPEG) and made Jackie's adjustments and added Drop Shadow. Check it tomorrow and I will add more to the bottom as well, thanks.

Very nice pose with the raise tail, HA, eye contact and beautiful background. Very repost seem to be going in the right direction, except for the frame, but that just a personal taste.
