Another fall leaf image, this one was taken in the early morning which gave me some nice backlighting. I applied the underpainting and dry brush filters as well as a blur overlay. Any C&C are welcome!

I like the colors and the filters you used. Maybe take some off the bottom. The backlighting looks good.

Love the gold color. The leaf appears to be glowing and just jumps out at the viewer. Very cool! Agree that maybe a little off the bottom would be good. The yellow "squigglies" for lack of a better word make me wonder what they are rather than spend time looking at the subject.

lovely color and light......IMO, blur is maxed to its limit.
The squiggles Patti mentioned, seem an undesirable element.
Above the leaf at the 1 o'clock position is a strange "shar" patch of bg

Keep in mind, this is only my opinion

Christopher, I love the colors and the backlight. A bit off the bottom for me and I agree w/ the squigglies and grey patches. Very nice overall look.

Thanks everyone. I'll have to think about what to do about those yellow "squiggles."

It works really well for me! Nice work with the filters. I don't think it needs cropping at the bottom. I wish the 2 leaves on the right border were more blurred.
