    Default White-tailed Eagle

Went through some old files and discovered this beauty :)
This was an ultra tight horinzontal with the upper wing tips clipped. So I went on and made this vertical from it, which is actually bigger in original size than my original Mark IIn files. This is certainly not everybody's taste, but I find it amazing what we can do nowadays. So why not use it!?
I tried to clone out the claw, but it I don't like it without it.

Beautiful light and details Jan. Head angle good, so am glad you shared. Have no issues with the single claw. Good pp work. Nicely done.

I like the banking pose, sharpness and eye contact. I don't mind the claw, either, but it were even stronger if sunlit. The 'cosmetic surgery' looks good, only just near the far wing the surrounding looks a bit brighter than the rest.

yeah, just saw it, too. After working on an image for some time you just don't see those things anymore ;) The webversion somehow increases that effect...

This is an amazing shot, clarity and detail are top notch, so is wing position and flight pose, advantages of filling the frame with the bird. Congrats

Stunning image Jan. Very nice turn and the brutal feather details makes this a strong image.
