Had been set up for BIF the evening before last, when I noticed this view across the lake and decided I'd better come up with a 'Reflections' image before the month ends. This is almost full frame, with adjustments to levels, contrast and saturation (too much?), and a 33% Watercolor filter applied. C&C appreciated.
Looks good Bill Reds should be adjusted to taste, do like the effect !!!
With reflections its fine to place the horizon in the middle but for this one might move to the lower third? Sure like looking at those trees and 1/3 reflection is a good complement !!!
Nice colors, only mother nature has that ability. Agree with Al's comments, if it were me I would have probably done the same thing you did. Great time of year - thanks for sharing.
Thank you all. Sounds like a consensus. Normally I would have not put the horizon in the center, but since the assignment was Reflections I figured I would emphasize those. You all kept me honest and held fast to good principles of composition.
