    another one from a workshop over the weekend in Howell MI, captured bird obviously because I am not invisible :)

    He was watching a hawk flying around in the sky, a little concerned about it I am guessing. I also learned that crows will hunt in bunches and kill owls by pecking them to death, I did not know that.

    at a ripe old age of 22 he is quite the bird and was very seasoned to being photographed

    its weird how the owl feathers look so soft when it shouldnt

    Nice alert look. Open beak adds to it. DOF good to keep beak and eye sharp. Would slightly prefer to be able to see a little of the left eye too. Whites on the breast are hot - possibly related to conversion to sRGB and saving to jpg for web.

    Really nice up close look. I like the open mouth and the details. Fantastic BG colors.
