Looks like another interesting week of "recreates".

Found this Sea Otter floating on a flower and thought it would fit the topic.

Modification included; Extrude (both square and pyramid), Sphere, Shear, Polar Coordinate and Twirl.

    Enjoy!

Mark, IMHO, This one is lacking a bit of interest. I would like to see a bit more detail in there somewhere.I do like the orange BG and the black adds a nice balance of color. It does have an abstract quality to it.

Not sure if it looks like an Otter, but it does have an abstact look and I like the colors that you used.

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

Agree it is an abstract version of an otter, but looks like one sitting on a kelp bed off Monterey, Calif. from my past travels there, hence the title. But art is in the eye of the beholder, so whatever you see and can enjoy is appreciated.

Hi Mark....hope you don't mind had a little fun with your image, which reminds me of West Coast Native Art. I tried to make it more like an Otter on his back feeding on a clam...

    No problem Paul.

There is always another vision to explore, whether it is similar or different. Just two views of the same concept.
