Default Hands up--it's a fair cop!

Here's one from earlier in the winter. I found this juv. light morph Rough-leg at a local State Park while out birding, and remarkably, it seemed rather tied to an area of short sallows. A scarce bird in winter here in CT, I was happy to get close enough for any shots, but was very happy with this lucky shot!

    Thanks for looking..

Great timing, exposure, comp, and eye contact. Was this a large crop?

Love the wing position and the whole trapeze look of this image. Great eye contact and exposure is spot on. I wish the branch didn't cross his chest but I also don't feel it hurts the image at all. Was this guy around that park for a while or just passing by? This is one of the species I hope most to see this year and would be willing to drive to CT if there was a good chance of seeing him. Congrats

Great wing position makes this image. Also like the feather detail--excellent.
The 2 twigs are a bit irregular. Would like to see the V where the 2 tree limbs merge at the bottom and a little more all around, especially at the bottom and right and a little more on the top. If the V where the 2 limbs merg isn't available then I would clone out the small limb on the right.

Very nice wing positio, HA and sharpness, I don't mind the limb cloning it out will make the photo a bit unreal because the bird would not be able to balance itself so close to the end of the limb.

    Excellent exposure and sharpness.

Pose is great and it's nice that you managed both eyes to be included.

They should be back soon :)
